Sr. Product Specialist

• Support business in Product Line basis of differentiation over competition and collect and provide technical competitive intelligence. Provide solution-oriented demos in competitive situations, content for marketing collateral, and technical competitive intelligence.
• Support Sales Team in achieving business plan, through: i) Demonstration on product capabilities and applicability to customer application needs. ii) Run samples and provide guidance to customers on method development. Extend support to customers in testing their samples to meet the product requirement.
• Support Sales during implementation by remaining engaged with the customer and sales & service team throughout the implementation and equipment installation.
• Provide problem diagnosis and assist in the elimination of start-up issues. Conduct customer training on a formal basis or requested by customers.
• Support Sales by providing technical advice to communicate regulations, trends, etc.
• Assists Service (when required) in external and internal technical training Deliver Presentations to Customers.

Qualifications :

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, master’s in chemistry or related field.
• At least 5 year(s) of working in analytical product Thermal/FTIR/UV-Vis.
• Added advantage: Knowledge in Material Characterization operation. Required hands-on experience in related products both theory and application.
• Able to work in sales and service environment
• Good interpersonal & communication skills in both verbal and written in English and able to do presentations to customers.
• Customer service oriented and willing to travel domestic and oversea.
• Ability to drive & execute task to meet customer requirement schedules.
• Computer literate, knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, Power point.
