The Financial Analyst will be responsible for monitoring resource allocation, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, maintaining project documentation, and creating / maintaining reporting to assist in decision making. This position will analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance, become a subject matter expert identifying and researching performance variances and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. The successful Financial Analyst will develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams. This role will support reporting efforts and existing processes and procedures to ensure efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and reconciliation of financial records.
- Assist with maintenance and organization of Finance email inbox.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Conduct research on financial trends and best practices.
- Help with organizing and maintaining financial documentation.
- Participate in special projects aligned with their academic background.
- Analyze monthly actuals vs. budget vs. forecast as part of the monthly site presentation, performing variance analysis of revenues, expenses, capital expenditures, and providing financial insights to business growth trends and profitability.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Lead site reforecast process including monthly roll-up and waterfall of backlog to accurately forecast revenue and profitability of business units based on dynamic inputs/assumptions.
- Document and follow up on action items and decisions from all meetings.
- Provide actionable insights and strong reporting commentary, including metric reporting.
- Ensure projects adhere to established processes and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Maintain reports within the Infor ERP system to assist with stakeholder decision making.
- Prepare client statements and work on various client requests.
- Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and projects
- Gain practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Learn how to use financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, JIRA or ERP systems).
- Understand internal financial controls and compliance processes.
- Participate in team meetings and observe real-world financial decision-making.
- Develop analytical and problem-solving skills through guided projects.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study.
- 0-1 years’ experience in a related field

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $50,000 to $55,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
