JobResponsibilities
Providesday-to-dayoversight of the Lab Support team, including coordination and responsibility for the delivery of support services.
AssistinmaintainingGlass-wash and Autoclave equipment, working closely with on-sitefacilities teams
Ability to troubleshoot problems within the system and recommend improvements.
Organize,analyzeand present metrics and KPI data to the General Laboratory Services Manager with reportable performance data.
Coordinates and manages project tasks to ensure delivery within allotted timelines.
Completes routineteammeetings/huddles/and safety taskswith Lab Support Technicians.
Follow proper safety precautions related toidentifyingjob hazards.
Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Business or Sciencewith 3+ years of inventory management experience related to above responsibilitiesOR
High School Degree/GED with 5+ years of inventory management experience related to above responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of how R&D laboratories function and has a proventrack recordof supporting those activities at various complexity levels
Leadership experience orexperience in customer-facing roles
Experience with operating laboratory grade sterilization equipment (Glass-wash, autoclave)
Background in a laboratory setting with a Chemistry/Biology focus
Bilingual preferred- Spanish/English
Working Environment:
Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlledenvironmentsrequiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) inlaboratory.
Job pace may befastand job completion demands may be high.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time
The person needs to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings onsite Frequentlyoperateon instruments, objects,toolsor controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting,stretchingand reachingin order toperform in a service function.
Occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds (potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).
Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability toobservedetails at close range distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusin order toperform the essential service functions of this position.
Occasionallyoperatesa computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Employeemaybe requiredto handle hazardous waste according to local, state, and federal regulations. Duties may includeidentifying, handling, generating, accumulating,storingand labeling hazardous waste.
Potential risk to lab-based hazards including but not limited to extreme temperature, biological materials,andhazardous chemicals.
May berequiredto complete Medical Clearance, Respiratory Protection Training, and Fit Testing to wear a respirator as protection againsthazardspresent in the laboratory environment.
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $80,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
